4HB Stories Edition 2: Vegetarians, Desserts, and Amazing Benefits

There are two reasons you should start following one of our newest 4HB followers: her perspectives are fresh because she recently started, and she is a vegetarian and will be posting some recipes. I know there are a lot of vegetarians who have started or are thinking about starting, so she will be one of the people to watch to get that perspective. Please visit her first 4HB post and say hi!

4HB is great for more than your gut

We all know how lovely the 4-Hour Body is on our gut, but I bet if you think about it you’ll realize more than just your belly is better. Personally, I don’t have acid reflux problems anymore. I had no idea that it was diet related, but I am beyond convinced it was. I think that’s part of why I sleep better at night and have more energy during the day.

Luke from Four Hour Body Couple posted an article about some of the unplanned health benefits that he’s seeing with his clients on the FHBC Couple’s Challenge. Go check it out (and stick around…they have tons of great posts! I’m actually a little jealous that I don’t think of them first…).


One of the things I hadn’t considered before was dessert on 4HB, but the 21st Century Gentleman is changing that tune. I first saw a tweet of his about a slow carb dessert, and he got me thinking. Then he posted an entire article about them. If you love your dinner, but still feel like you want more, why not try these slow-carb dessert ideas? Use them as a launching point to create some amazing snacks, and send them our way!

Tips for 4HB beginners

I see a lot of questions from people trying to get going on 4HB and aren’t sure where to start. I decided to write an article with a bunch of tips, tools, and advice for the 4HB newbies among us. It’s also a great post to send to someone who you might be trying to evangelize into the 4HB mindset.

We’ll try to pick this back up with the first Saturday of the month like I had planned, so keep that in mind as you write the rest of the month.
