4HB Stories Edition 5: The Last One

Only one article came in this time, so without beating around any kind of bush, I’ll get to it:

The Price of the Slow Carb Diet

Justin Passmore submits to us an article about the costs associated with a month on slow-carb. He outlines what he’s been buying and gives us tips on how we can cut some costs when shopping for our nourishment. For example, buy your beans dry and in bulk. He found his for under $1 a pound.

He doesn’t just have food though. He also added the cost of his workout equipment. You’ll have to read the article to find out how little he spent in a month.

Retiring the carnival – at least for now

It’s been tough to get carnival submissions for the last few months. I think it’s partly because a lot of people don’t know what blog carnivals are, but it’s also because the 4HB space is not very large. That’s OK.

So I’m putting it to bed for a while. Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far. In a few months when the space is a little bigger, maybe I’ll host another one.

Have a good weekend!

  1. Thanks for featuring my article here. Sorry there weren’t more submissions, but I hope you do continue this in the future. I had the idea for that article in my head for a while but decided to write it when I saw you were doing the carnival.

I’ll do my part to advertise it more if / when you continue it!
