How To Make White Bean Mash

How To Make White Bean Mash
I’m borrowing the photo from Nigella Lawson

You may notice in a few of my recipes I talk about using a white bean mash. This is how I make mine:

  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2c cooked, rinsed, and drained beans
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, diced
  • salt

  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil. When the pan is hot, add the ingredients.
  2. Move them around periodically, and eventually you’ll see them starting to fall apart.
  3. Use the bottom of the spatula to do a press-and-slide motion until it looks like a mash.
