4HB Results: A New Month Begins

You know how sometimes you go on a trip, and it’s amazing while you’re there. You’re living in the moment, taking it all in, enjoying every second. You get to the end and realize you can’t leave yet because the government won’t let your wife into the country, so you rejoice in having to stay an indefinite amount of time, promising your boss it’s only another couple weeks, just hoping you’re right.

Ok, maybe you were with me up until the government stuff, but you know what’s coming next. You get to the end, realize it’s over and get sad, and wonder how much weight you gained while on vacation.

When you get home, it all seems like a dream. A very good but semi-fattening dream.

My wife and I finally got home Sunday night! I have to admit I ate terribly between the time we left Paraguay and when I got home from work yesterday. “Terribly” might be a strong word, but I certainly didn’t eat how I should have been. The good news is, though, that I lost weight while in Paraguay.

Getting to the point

With a new month upon us, and 6 very inconsistent weeks behind me, I’m going to do this 30 day challenge thing again. I’m not upset with my progress at all. I finally broke 300 again (I fought with that a whole year). I’m 20 lbs less than I was last year in January (and February and March and…), so I am very excited with how this year is shaping up.

This month I plan to track and display my results. I’ll start with weight loss and inches. I set a goal of 284 by the end of March, but I think I can beat that.

On to the results

Last time I reported it, my weight was 306.
Today, I weigh 294.6. That’s a change of -11.4 lbs (over 6 weeks…I have no idea if I was less at any point).

Last week my total inches were 212.5.
Arms: 17L 16R
Legs: 28.125L 28.5R (I never feel I measure my legs at the same spot every time)
Waist: 54.5
Hips: 49.75
Neck: 17.5

Total: 211.375, for a change of -1.125 inches (in a week).

Things are going down, so that’s good! I was really excited about my weight. Enough to make me want to start this new month hard.

So how have your own personal challenges been going? I’d love to hear about it in the comments.
